Aloha,
It's been a while since I've posted anything on here…and it's not that I haven't had time. In the past month or so I've been lucky enough to move back to Hawaii. The most beautiful place in world! I say that pretty confidently knowing that I've only been to a few scattered corners of the globe. Anyway, aside from soaking in the beauty of being home and once again nestled against the Ko'olau's, I've been working on getting a new board collection going down here. Because of shipping costs I ended up leaving all my alaias in San Diego and am just making new ones. So regarding Papa Kai, there's plenty of wood available for those who want to make their own alaia, and for you lazy people, let me do it for you…I'm back home again!
On a side note…I'm going to make a shameless plug for a new venture. With all the Groupon/Living Social craze that's been going on lately, we thought we'd work on a little social buying project of our own. It's called www.foamily.com and it's a group buying site for custom surfboards. You can also find us on facebook at www.facebook.com/foamily. This is our first week in business and we're offering $100 off any custom surfboard from Raynor Surfboards. The boards are awesome! I've already bought a coupon for myself and since all coupons are redeemable for 6 months, I've got plenty of time to redeem it.
Anyway, take a look at the new site and check out the deal, you'll be happy you did. And please give me any feedback on the idea itself, the model, and site…we'd like to make it as user friendly as possible.
Mahalos and speak soon,
Jeremy
