I got a text this morning asking if we in San Diego were being asked to evacuate. First of all I had no idea that any disaster was underway and if so didn't have a clue as to whether it affected me. Hoping on my computer and seeing all the damage among the Japanese was an eye opener and had me worried not only for them but for everybody who might have been in the path of a tsunami back home and especially in Laie, Oahu.
It's still crazy to see all the damage in Japan and our prayers go out to them. However, it's a relief to hear that everyone back home in the islands is ok and that the tsunami was pretty uneventful there.
